Browning's X bolt ring are a great addition to your rifle. The one thing is, you need to know the objective lens size of your scope, prior to ordering your rings. And with lens covers it might need to be the next size up in order to open them. Pros: Four bolt system allows for easy alignment Cons: Bolts hard to thread in at first

I like these rings. They look great, install easily, and fit the x-bolt rifle perfectly. A little pricey but that's what you get with Browning. Don't overlook the "integrated" factor and order the mounting bases like I did if you're putting this on an X-bolt rifle. They aren't needed. Pros: look great, install easily Cons: none

Awesome mounts that are rock solid when mounting a scope. Once the mounts have been properly installed, I like to use a dab of "Loctite", there is virtually no fear of these ever working loose. Since they are machined from 1 piece of aluminum they are a guaranteed fit and 4 more screws per mount keep the scope down tight. Again, no fear of the scope loosening up. I'd be silly to test drop the rifle/scope to test its durability but with how solid it fits together I'd think I'd break the scope before I'd lose my sight in. They only drawback is with my Bushnell DOA 600 3-9X40 with the flip up lense covers the standard mount is a too short and the covers won't install all the way without touching the barrel. I'd recommend the intermediate height. Pros: Strong, Easy to mount with 4 screws per mount for strength. Cons: Standard mount too low for flip up lense covers on Bushnell scopes

Be sure to look under the mount. Arrows indicate proper placement & direction. Screws will not fit right otherwise. Pros: Well Made Cons: Minimal instructions

Perfect match for Browning X Bolt Stainless Stalker 7mm Mag and Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40. Local gun store clerk tried selling me on Leopold 4-pc system, saying it would offer add'l windage adjustment capabilities: why would you install a scope ring with2x the parts? The Browning X Lock rings fit absolutely perfectly, installed in 5 minutes, and are solid as a rock. No issues whatsoever with holes tapped on rifle too shallow, or mounting screws too long. Screws were machined perfectly to rifle and lined up better than I could have possibly expected. Only one thing to really watch for: make sure you have the front and back mount in the right order - if they are reversed, there is a little gap, which is possibly where some reviewers might have had issues with mounting hole depth. You can visually see how precisely they lay on the receiver when they ARE layed down in the correct order. Could not be happier, gun shoots almost dead-center at 100 yards with scope AND gun right out of the box. Highly recommended, not anymore expensive really than the Leopold knock-offs anyway. You bought a Browning rifle, just get the Browning rings and don't fuss with the rest.

These rings are manufactured by the well-known, high-quality manufacturer, Talley. These fit perfectly on a Browning x-bolt .308 rifle. The intermediate height was perfect for the 42mm Vortex scope (the more heavily contoured barrel of the Hog Stalker rifle requires the intermediate height rings). These rings also kept the bolt handle from interfering with the scope body. Comes with the 8 screws needed for mounting - don't forget to use some blue Loc-Tite!

Very good mounts, I have several of these mounted on X-Bolt Browning rifles, with Nikon Monarch 3, 4-16-50. The rings are just the correct height that will allow the lens cap to close. The Center of scope to the center of the bore is 1.6". The mounts are very well machined and fit perfect.

I purchased the intermediate size, these scope rings are great, they fit perfectly to the barrel. I have a 3-9 X 50mm scope and the rings are supposed to accept up to a 50mm scope, the scope did not rest in fully (1 or 2 mm)in the front ring so it was touching the barrel. So I would say they might run a little shorter then advertised.

This item is as advertised, works perfect for mounting scopes. I used the above mounts to mount a vortex scope on a browning xbolt 30-06 rifle and was not disappointed. The 4 bolt system provides a excellent way of making sure that the mounts do not come lose. After shooting 30 rounds i re-check the bolts and all were still tight. I did use removable lock tight which is recommended in the instructions.

I mounted these fine mounts on my Browning X-Bolt and they went on as expected, though the rear screws seemed to be a little snug with screwing them down but after removeing them and checking, it did no damage to the receiver so I put a little dab of Blue Loc-Tite on the screws and reattached the mounts. These are grat mounts and I would by them again for future Browning rilfes I might buy down the road. On a side note, I love my 2 browning rifles. (A-Bolt and X-Bolt. Accurate, fun to shoot, and good quality build. I have sold my Remington rifles and am now a Browning fan.) Pros: Integrated Base/Rings Cons: Rear base screws seemed tighter to screw down then the others but did no damage to the rifle receiver.

Unlike traditional two bolt mounts which can throw off a scope's zero if a single bolt loosens, the x-lock system has four bolts per mount. Also, the ring and base are one piece, eliminating another flex/point of movement. That said, this is a 'set it and forget it' system. If you are looking for a quick disconnect scope mount, this kit is probably not your best choice. Pros: One piece design with four bolts per mount Cons: Limited adjustability

Browning website lists three heights for X-Bolt Integrated Mounts: 0.400" Standard height, 0.500" Intermediate height, 0.600" High. You can use the Standard (low) ring height for scopes up to a 44mm objective with a standard barrel contour. The scope used for this rifle has a 40 MM objective and we wanted to keep the scope as close to the bore as possible. OpticsPlanet was the only website we found that had the Standard Height (0.400") in their price range.

Liked the Browning x-bolt scope rings over leupold syle since you didnt have to fuss with the old windage screws and the extra joints. Believe this is a better ring since it is solid with less things to go wrong over time. Very easy to use and very high quality. Pros: Good precision, rugged solid frame, Cons: none

I purchased the intermediate height based on several reviews from this site and others and glad I did. They fit perfect with no problems. The intermediate rings allow the shell to come out with out hitting any part of the scope. They are holding a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40 which I would also highly recommend, if you are looking for a quality scope at a great price. Only nine months to deer season. Pros: fit, solid construction Cons: none

Great Fit... I ordered these to use on my Browning x-Bolt. They attached easily, came with a wrench and will be perfect with my new Vortex scope. I was contacted by customer service in reference to my order and informed that due to one item being back-ordered, they would ship half now and the other half when it came in. This first part went great, the ordeal with trying to get the rest of the order was not so great and I had to contact Customer Service SEVERAL times and could not get a straight answer. So, this product gets 5 stars, but OpticsPlanet customer service only gets 2 stars.

These are great bases and rings for mounting your 30mm scope. I mounted my 3-18x50mm Leupold VX-6 scope with these without a problem on my Browning X Bolt Stainless Stalker rifle. I would suggest using a little lock-tight on the screws just to make sure you don't have any back out.

I installed .500 X-Lock Intermediate rings on a Browning 30-06 H*lls Canyon Speed to hold a Vortex Diamond Back HP 4-16x42 scope. The .500 rings were the perfect fit. The 42mm front objective is just high enough for a lens cover to fit without touching the rifle. The rings are individually marked front and back. Pay attention to that, set on your receiver and tighten the eight mounting screws to spec. After sight in, check the torque on the mounting screws. I can't imagine this mounting system ever coming loose. 5 stars for fit and finish. 4 stars for ease of installation. Browning should provide installation instructions.

The base screws were too long. I had to file down 6 of the 8 screws to make them fit. Now that they are mounted though, seems pretty secure. These were cheaper than the other base and rings setup I was looking at, but I wish I would have went with the adjustable rings, elevation on these was off by quite a bit. Cons: screws too long

You must use these for any 50mm scopes, they mount easily and securely to the rifle. I have used other scope mounts on other rifles and had them come loose. These must be used on the browning as others will not fit. But the design is worth the price and you will not be disappointed in the quality.

One piece design allows for fewer things that can go wrong with your mount. Four screws per mount make a rock solid connection between rifle and mount. The design of the mount provides multiple options to suit your particular stock weld and eye relief. It was an exact fit and easy squeezy to mount.

Super nice mounts. This is my first Xbolt rifle but I must say the 4 bolts per mount in an x pattern does make for a very solid mount. And even though the package says Browning they are made by Talley so it's good stuff. But I'll go ahead and warn you even if you've got a fat wrench torc wrench you'll need a skinny bit to get down in the holes inside the rings. The rings lapped very uniformly also.

Received scope rings and installed on customer rifle. The rifle shot about two feet low with scope at max elevation. Tried different scope same. Called OP and and asked if there is a front and rear scope ring, and after a very long hold time the customer service person told me front and rear scope rings are the same. So returned the rifle to Browning. The rifle was fine. Then from searching the internet I find that they rings are different. The package had two rear mount rings. So because of OP not knowing information about their products, I insured and sent this rifle back to Browning and wasted labor and time. I think the product is good but their product knowledge is lacking.

When first purchasing the X-Bolt rifle I thought the idea of having 4 screws each mount was the best idea ever. Then after putting the mount on and 2 of the screws on the left side of the front mount did not screw in properly, I felt tighter to screw in the other other 6 but not so much that I was actually re-threading anything. I hope that the scope holes drilled by browning are 100% straight or there is no way to correct this with these mounts. This is obviously not the mounts fault but if the mount or rifle is even a 100th of an inch off it will screw up your whole setup. In future I would get the X-mount base and put regular adjustable rings on just incase. Pros: Fits X-bolt rifle Cons: Hope that browning tapped your mounting holes straight

The standard size will not fit a 3-9x40 Nikon scope on a Browning X-Bolt 270 stainless stalker. Scope sits too low touching the barrel. You will need the next size higher in order for it to fit. Other then that scope mounts are solid and mounts straight no need to align or lap rings...

The Browning X-Bolt rifle is a "one of a Kind" so it's only natural that they have this type of scope mount. The 4 bolt per mount ensures they will stay rigid and firm plus they look good. Be sure to note the "F" and "R" (front and rear) markings on the bottom of the mount. There is a wide variety of heights and finishes available. I chose the high rings with gloss finish to mount a new and original Browning 3 x 9 x 50 scope on a Browning X-Bolt Eclipse Hunter in 300 Win Mag, to keep the rifle all Browning.

This is the second time I have mounted a scope with this system on a Browning X-bolt rifle, and just like the first experience it was the fastest and easiest job of scope mounting in my experience. It is a secure and solid mounting system and the lack of any windage adjustment on the rear mount is not a problem with today's riflescopes. Overall a winner.

I just received these rings from Optics Planet after checking both the Browning website and contacting Talley (the manufacturer for Browning) for fit info. Both sources said to go with the medium rings for a Nikon 50mm Prostaff 5 (illuminated model). On my Maple Medallion they were about .5-1mm too low. I can say that the workmanship and finish on the rings is very very good and I really like the four screw direct to receiver design, BUT DON'T buy the mediums if you have a 50mm Prostaff 5.

Apprehensive of fit since three choices for height. Medium fit the 50mm optic with perfect clearance over barrel as the reviews and Q&A directed. Arrived with perfect timing to bore-site, zero, and then bag big buck on final day of season. The fit and finish on X-bolt was better than expected and matched rifle and scope.
