- CONS
- useless pic rail
Pretty good sight for the price. Only a couple boxes of .223 with it so far but it is holding zero so far. The wide-body style has a good FOV. The long-life CR123 battery type is a definite bonus (no 2032 here). Like the NcStar Tactical Red/Green/Blue Dot Sight w/ Cantilever Weaver Mount I purchased at the same time the glass could be a tad brighter, but again, at this price point it is a minor issue. 2 minor negatives prevent me from giving a 5 for this. First off, the included caps are the stretch on type, which are okay, but flip-ups would have been nicer. I hate looking for or replacing caps I have dropped. Secondly, while all tacticool looking, the pic rail on the left side is kinda of useless. Mount anything there (remember, this is a rather wide-bodied sight to begin with) and you defeat the both eyes open use of the sight. It has screws on it and I might remove it completely. I would purchase another if the need arose.
