Just got the M Series 8x42 two days ago. Fantastic glass, extremely bright even at dusk, i live in Chicago and being summer, 8:30 PM is when daylight really starts to decrease in a hurry, still I was observing boats on Lake Michigan way out and the light gathering from these binos was outstanding. Quality built, its solid all around. I own a Zeiss and a Leica and can tell without any reservations that these are the best bang for the dollar I have ever spent on a pair of binos. Get them, you will not be sorry.
